• What time zone is my workshop in?

  • SLS is located in Middle Tennessee, we typically post all workshop information in Central Time Zone. *Please double check your time zone!

• I bought a workshop and didn’t realize it was in CT, I cannot make it- Can I get a refund?

  • We try to work with everyone as best we can. Please let us know as soon as you notice and we will do everything we can to make sure you are a happy customer! :)

• Can I still get accommodations for a workshop with less than 2 weeks notice?

  • We ask for 2 weeks notice for guaranteed services, however we will do our best no matter the time frame!

• I am looking to request an interpreter for something other than a workshop- Who do I contact?

• Where is the link for Virtual Workshop I purchased?

  • When you made your purchase, you should have received an email with a PDF attached. Please follow instructions on the PDF for detailed information and the Zoom link.

• Why do I have to register for the Zoom link?

  • This allows SLS to obtain a report from Zoom with additional information than a typical Zoom meeting might have. Per RID we must ensure participants receiving CEUs are in the workshop for 80% of the time.

  • This report is also a fail safe for collecting your RID number, contact information, etc to ensure a smoother process for you.

• When will I get my CEUs?

  • We strive to be quick as possible, however we also want to make sure we give everyone enough time to get their Survey and COC in. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your CEUs to be uploaded to RIDs transcripts post workshop.

    • For more detailed information, please see the “Surveys or Certificates of Completion” tab.

We now have two forms of self paced workshops. These are labeled as either ‘Archived’ or ‘On-Demand.’

Archived workshops are a recorded version of a virtual workshop we hosted live in past. These will have an audience on Zoom and may contain some Breakout sessions that you will not be able to view.

On-Demand workshops do not have a live audience, but just the presenter teaching content with a PowerPoint.

• How do I access my Self-Paced Workshop?

  • When you made your purchase, you should have received an email with a PDF attached. Please follow instructions on the PDF for detailed information.

• Where is the link for my quiz?

  • After watching the entirety of the workshop, the last 2 minutes is a short clip explaining the next steps on how to find the link to your quiz. This link should pop up on the video at the end.

• Where is my Certificate of Completion?

  • After submitting the quiz, you should have followed an additional link to complete the RID survey. A second link should appear after submitting the survey to fill out information for your COC. Once you have completed this, please allow 5-10 minutes for this to show up in your inbox.

We now have a more flexible approach to getting CEUs. Our book studies are streamlined to help you earn CEUs while reading some great books that connect with your work.

• I purchased a Book Study.. Now what?

  • When you made the Book Study purchase, you should have received an email with a PDF attached. This PDF has your instructions, Guided Topics and Quiz.

• I can’t find that PDF? Or My link to the PDF expired, how can I get it back?

  • Please let me know which Book Study PDF you are in need of and I will get that over to you ASAP. :)

• What happens after I submit my quiz?

  • We take pride in reading every single Book Study Quiz that is submitted to us. Due to this, we ask that you allow 2 weeks for us to review and process yours.

    • Once we review yours, you will receive an email with the subject “NEXT STEPS- Book Study: name of book” - Please follow the instructions and complete your survey and COC.

• How long does it take for me to get my CEUs?

  • We process CEUs once a week on Friday’s. This means as long as everything was submitted correctly you should see your CEUs on your transcripts shortly after. We ask that you allow 2-3 weeks before reaching out.

RID requires all workshop participants to fill out a workshop survey after completion of workshop in order to receive CEUs. We cannot submit your CEUs without this.

• Is my survey anonymous? Who sees my answers?

  • These surveys are fully anonymous. We do not collect names or any other identifying information. The only people who can see the answers to the survey are SLS internal staff and the presenter.

  • This information is to help the presenter and SLS improve their content and approaches for future workshops.

• Do I have to fill out the survey?

  • If you are in need of CEUs (RID or other certifications), you are required to fill out the survey. This is also the only way you can obtain your Certificate of Completion.

• Where is my Certificate of Completion?

  • After submitting the RID survey, a second link should appear after submitting the survey to fill out information for your COC. Once you have completed this, please allow 5-10 minutes for this to show up in your inbox.

• I missed the link for the COC- What do I do?

  • If you missed the message with the link to fill out information for your COC you can do one of two things.

    • Re-submit your survey and follow the link to the COC.

    • Inform me which workshop COC link you missed and I will get back to you with that ASAP.

• How long does it take for me to get my CEUs?

• Why didn’t I get the email with the Survey & COC after the workshop?

  • RID requires participants to be in the workshop for a minimum of 80% of the duration of the workshop. We run a ZOOM report with the times. If you were not in the workshop the whole time, we cannot honor those CEUs.

• How long does it take for me to get my CEUs?

  • I process CEUs once a week on Friday’s. This means as long as everything was submitted correctly you should see your CEUs on your transcripts shortly after. We ask that you allow 2-3 weeks before reaching out.

• It's been 3 weeks and I still don’t see my CEUs- What do I do?

  • If you have waited the 2-3 weeks but still do not see your CEUs on your transcripts, please inform me and I will work some behind the scenes magic to get those on there. :)

• Do these CEUs count for BEI, EIPA, State Licensure?

  • Yes, our CEUs count for most other licenses or certifications. If you need us to fill out additional paperwork for you to earn credits, please ask. We will get you whatever you need.

    • Certificate of Completions are typically all that is required as proof.
